Background:
- K-REIT Asia is a real estate investment trust established in
Singapore pursuant to the Trust Deed and managed by K-REIT Asia Management Limited. K-REIT Asia is establised with the objective of generating stable returns to Unitholders by owning and investing in portfolio of quality real estate and real estate-related assets which are income-producing and are predominantly used for commercial purposes.K-REIT Asia will initially invest in and own the following properties, all of which are currently owned by wholly owned subsidiares of Keppel Land:
- Prudential Tower Property;
- Keppel Towers and GE Tower and
- Bugis Junction Towers
- The Manager aims to maximise total returns to Unitholders by, among other things, (i) actively managing K-REIT Asia’s property portfolio; (ii) acquiring properties that meet the Manager’s investment criteria; and (iii) employing appropriate debt and equity financing strategies
